Danielle Crokie the girlfriend of a man charged with killing his wife could face life in prison after new charges were issued in the homicide case.

At a grand jury session Wednesday, Crokie was charged with complicity to aggravated murder and conspiracy to aggravate murder, both first-degree felonies.

If Crokie is found guilty she will face a minimum of life in prison for aiding in the death of Shelly Shockey.

Police believe the two suspects worked to kill Shelly Shockey, some time before March 10 at her home on Pennsylvania Ave.

Police found the victim’s body in the basement underneath boxes and blankets.

David Shockey, from Bucyrus, was charged with aggravated murder, a first-degree felony, and tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony. He also faces a minimum sentence of life in prison if found guilty.
