Taking A Multi Vitamin Doesn't Do Much

If you're taking a multivitamin thinking that it's the key to new life, don't be too excited. Brigham and Women’s Hospital says that especially for your heart, vitamins just kind of do nothing. People in a study taking vitamins were not likely to be healthier than the next person who was taking a placebo.

"More than half of older American adults take a daily multivitamin supplement, but evidence of any clear health benefits is scarce" the study says. So what do you do instead? Eat right, exercise, and sleep. Nothing can replace a healthy lifestyle, not even a pill!
