The help-wanted signs are definitely up in America. The Labor Department's Job Openings and Labor Turnover survey for April was released yday and it shows six-point-seven million job openings. And for the first time in decades, there are more job openings than unemployed Americans to fill them.
The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco says the ratio of unemployed to job openings is the lowest in nearly half a century. The numbers show less than one worker for every job opening, the lowest since 1970.
