CVS is morphing from a pharmacy into a wellness store more and more.
The pharmacy giant is getting ready to offer a nationwide video visit service using its smartphone app to treat easy-to-diagnose health problems. The telemedicine service announced will cost 59 dollars and will diagnose things like colds and flu, skin problems, and general wellness issues.
CVS will initially offer the smartphone telemedicine service, available 24/7, in Arizona, California, Florida, Idaho, Maine, Maryland, Mississippi, New Hampshire, Virginia, and Washington, DC.
