Beef Recalled After 57 People Get Sick

A massive beef recall today as an Arizona company is recalling six-and-a-half million pounds of beef over possible salmonella contamination. The JBS Tolleson company has been identified as the probable source of the raw meat products linked to dozens of reported cases of salmonella in 16 states. The beef is sold under a number of names including 5 Star Beef, Cedar River Farms, Showcase, La Herencia, Four Star, Clear River and thinkpure.

The affected products were packaged between July 26th to September 7th, 2018 and have an establishment number of EST.267. Anyone who has these products is urged to throw them away or return them to where they were bought.
