Tips To Sleep Better

There are some tricks to try that you may not have heard of yet. Hopefully you’ll get some good “z’s.”

  • Sleep in a cold room. Optimal temperatures are between 60 and 67 degrees.
  • Time your supplements. Melatonin is great if you take it right. Three hours before bed if you have trouble falling asleep and one hour before if you can’t stay asleep. One to two milligrams is plenty.
  • Block the blue light. Blue light comes from your TV and devices and disrupt your internal clock. Steer clear of them at least 30 minutes before bed.
  • Chill out your pets. Put pet toys away and take collars off at night.
