A new poll of 2,000 Americans asked folks what they’d like to see happen in their lifetime, and the answers were pretty interesting.
- The top things most Americans would like to see is affordable healthcare and access to quality education, something 51% of people are hoping for.
- Other things Americans want to see achieved in their lifetime include:
- Access to public transportation (46%)
- 100% renewable energy (42%)
- No criminals re-offend (36%)
- No firearm-related deaths (30%)
- No government corruption (28%)
- No homelessness (26%)
- No poverty (24%)
- No unemployment (23%)
- No police corruption (22%)
- No suicides (21%)
- No single-use plastics (17%)
Meanwhile, when it comes to the American Dream, the most common one amongst those polled is still owning a home (53%), followed by a car (53%) and having a family (50%).
