Tuesday (December 6) at 5:54 am, CSX reported a body lying along the south set of railroad tracks, between the Greenwood and the Jefferson Street Crossings, Police responded to that area and found the body of a deceased male.The name of the deceased male is being withheld until after the initial investigation, to insure proper notification of family members. The Marion Police Department Units, were assisted by Marion Police Department Detectives , the Marion Fire Department, Railroad Police and the Marion County Coroner’s Office.
