Two Bucyrus Residents Seriously Injured In Crash

A crash north of Bucyrus Saturday evening injures two Bucyrus residents. At 7:49 p.m., forty-two year-old Timothy E. Dye, was riding his 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle, north on Ohio 19 when he lost control while attempting to avoid hitting a Ford F150 truck, driven by thirty-five year-old William A. Campbell, from Shelby. Timothy Dye and his wife, forty-two year-old Bonnie Dye, were ejected from the motorcycle and sustained serious injuries. Mr. Dye as flown to the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus while his wife was taken to Bucyrus Community Hospital for treatment. She was later transported to a Columbus hospital for further treatment.

Mr. Campbell was not injured and was issued a citation for driving under suspension.
