Premiere Of Warner Bros. Pictures' "Aquaman" - Red Carpet

Awwww!

Jason Momoa brought his wife Lisa Bonet and their kids out to see Disney's live-action remake of The Lion King as an early birthday celebration for his daughter Lola — and it seems like the movie made a real crybaby out of the father of two.

This Sunday (July 21), the married couple went to a special screening of the highly-anticipated movie, starring Beyonce and Donald Glover, with Lola and her 10-year-old brother, Nakoa-Wolf, ahead of the the birthday girl turning 12 on July 23.

The 39-year-old captured all the fun and excitement with photos of the bunch posing together on the red carpet, as well as others showing the proud papa hugging his children. Along with sharing the set of touching images on Instagram, Momoa gave his daughter a b-day shout-out, but not without admitting to the surprisingly emotional reaction he had while watching the film with his family.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY LOVEE. I'm so thankful to be home with my ohana," the Game of Thrones alum begins the caption. "@lionking was amazing congrats to everyone who made this film it was heart soul tears epic Thanks for making me cry numerous of times in front of a bunch of children."

But the birthday festivities started way before then. Days before taking his children to see the tear-inducing family flick, Momoa surprised both his children with custom skateboards with the name "Momoa" scrawled across them.

What an awesome dad!
