A Marion man was killed Thursday in Wheeler County Texas, from a two vehicle accident. Thursday night around 11:40 p.m. a truck tractor towing a semi trailer, driven by Jarmanjit Singh, of Fresno, California, was traveling east on I-40 in the right lane. 59-year-old Robert Leighty, of Marion, was traveling on his motorcycle in front of Singh in the right lane of I-40 eastbound. Leighty, was struck by the rear bumper of the semi, when it attempted to pass him. Leighty died from his injuries at a local hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
