The Jonas Brothers just released a festive new bop called “Like It’s Christmas.”
The band, consisting of real-life brothers Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas, dropped the record Friday (November 8), and it’s arrival marks more than a decade since the group’s released a holiday song.
On the new tune, the Jonas Brothers sing: “You make every day feel like it’s Christmas/ Never wanna stop/ Feeling like the first thing on your wish list/ Right at the top/ I can’t deny what I’m feeling inside/ Nothing fake about the way you bring me to life/ You make every day feel like it’s Christmas/ Every day that I’m with you.”
The members announced “Like It’s Christmas” on Instagram earlier this week with a festive graphic of the boys each sporting Santa hats. “Mariah Carey has given the world the green light, so the holiday season has begun!!!” the boys teased of their new single at the time.
The JoBros’ last original holiday tune came in 2007 with the release of “Girl of My Dreams” from the Disney Channel Holiday album. The band got into the Christmas spirit a year later when they sampled “Joy to the World” for “Joyful Kings” from the 2008 holiday compilation LP, All Wrapped Up.
In related news, the Jonas Brothers have been billed to perform at the 2019 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour presented by Capital One, kicking off on December 1 in Tampa, Florida, and continues across the US throughout December including Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Washington DC, Chicago, Atlanta, and Miami.
