6-Year-Old Cancer Survivor Gets Heartwarming Welcome Returning To School


Here's today's feel-good story:

At 4-years-old, Nathan Herber was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in 2018. After spending months in the hospital, Nathan's first day of school was finally here.

After 900 days of treatment, including a period of life support, Nathan is back with his friends in school.

More than 300 of his fellow students welcomed him back in the school parking lot and waved to him on his last day of treatment.

“I’m gonna be happy, because I might be able to see my friends from all the [classes] that I had last time,” he said.
