The Ohio State Highway Patrol, in conjunction with the Marion City Police Department and The Marion County Sheriff’s Department held an OVI checkpoint on Friday. The checkpoint was held on Mount Vernon Avenue and Forrest Lawn Drive in the City of Marion. Officers made contact with 519 vehicles that passed through the checkpoint. No vehicles were diverted for further investigation and no impaired drivers were arrested for OVI.
