The Mid – Ohio Educational Service Center Board of Governors has approved a new Superintendent. Kevin Kimmel, who is the current Superintendent of the Bucyrus City Schools, will take over the job effective, August 1st, 2019. Former Superintendent Linda Keller retired on December 31st and Ed Swartz is currently serving as interim Superintendent. Kimmel has spent the last 8 years as Superintendent of Bucyrus Schools and overall 21 years with the district. RichlandSource.com reports the Mid – Ohio Educational Service Center serves 15 schools districts and more than 22,000 students in Richland, Crawford and Morrow counties.
