MARION, Ohio – The local and family-owned Ashley stores in Mansfield, Marion and Bellefontaine are hosting their 12th Annual Veteran Celebration and Free Furniture Giveaway at the Veteran Memorial Coliseum in Marion, Ohio on Sunday, October 2nd from 1pm to 4pm, a free event to honor local veterans.
“We know firsthand the sacrifice that’s made when entering the service,” says Ben Monnin, who served in the U.S. Army from 1990 to 1995. “This event is meant to honor and thank the veterans and their families for the sacrifices they’ve made for this country, and we’re proud to say that this event has grown tremendously in the eleven years since its inception.”
A free lunch will be served at the beginning of the event followed by a speaker and a free furniture and prizes giveaway. Handicap seating and a shuttle service will be available.
