A man in Boca Raton, Florida is in the record books for walking the furthest on his hands in eight hours. And he did it for charity.
Ashwin Kalyandurg traveled over three miles walking on his hands last Tuesday. The 22-year-old beat the Guinness world record for walking the furthest via hand in eight hours by 100-meters. The senior medical student at Nova Southeastern University had his two friends tally the distance.
Ashwin ended up helping four charities during the feat with no feet. n the Pledge-Per-Step Challenge, he raised money for Eat Better Live Better, The Unicorn Children’s Foundation, The Pediatric Oncology Support Team and End Polio Now.
Kalyandurg said he climbed palm trees, did push ups and walked on his hands around parking garages in order to prepare for the unique feat.
