Who Has The Best Travel Rewards?

The way airlines and hotels have been treating customers lately, it’s certainly hard for travelers to stay loyal to one company. While we are constantly being asked to sign up for rewards programs that will give us perks for our loyalty, not all programs are alike and not all of them are really worth it. Thankfully, "U.S. News & World Report" is here to help you choose the right one. The mag just came out with their 2017-2018 Best Travel Reward Programs list, identifying 26 hotel and airline loyalty programs with the most rewarding perks.

For hotels, Marriott Rewards earned top honors mainly for the ease at which customers can earn points, especially thanks to their huge network of hotels. Members also get lots of perks, like free Wi-Fi access, and they can also use their points to book experiences like concerts or even sporting events.

As for airlines, Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan earned the title of Best Airline Rewards Program for a third straight year. Their program allows travelers to earn points based on miles flown, rather than dollars spent, which makes it easier for budget travelers to get free flights.
