Adulting takes up so much of our spare time, how can we be expected to fit in physical activity? Going to the gym takes enough effort as is. What are we supposed to do when we have to fit it in during the weekdays? Maybe we can fit in a little bit of gym action on the weekends, but at that point, are we really making a difference if it’s only once or twice a week on Saturdays and Sundays?
The answer, luckily, is yes! According to the “Journal of American Medical Association: Internal Medicine,” people who work out regularly and just on the weekends both had better cardiovascular health and lower risk of cancer death than people who don’t work out at all. So working out only on the weekends is definitely better than nothing!
BUT keep in mind - if you’re inactive all week and working out on the weekends, you’re more likely to get tired quickly, and you might be more prone to injury. Be careful out there, weekend warriors!!
