Sanitation Workers Build a Library!

Jackie Collins has nothing on these sanitation workers, who have built an entire library containing books that people have tossed in the trash.

The garbage collectors were disappointed by all of the books that people throw away, so they spent months pulling discarded books and book shelves out of the trash that they had picked up. They ultimately used it all to create a library inside of an abandoned brick factory.

The library has also accepted donated books from the public and the collection has surpassed 6,000 books including fiction, nonfiction, children's books, and research materials.

The books are loaned out two weeks at a time. It's not known if they have to be brought back to the library or just thrown away in the trash. Either way they'll end up back at the library.
