One tech giant wants to keep their employees healthy.
Apple is opening a number of health clinics for its employees and their families. Called AC Wellness, the clinics reportedly will provide doctors, exercise coaches and lab testing. The first clinics will open this spring near the company's California headquarters. The idea is to promote healthier behaviors.
The company insists that it's better and cheaper to keep employees healthy rather than losing productivity through illness. It’s on the heels of Amazon teaming up with JPMorgan and Berkshire Hathaway to announce a plan to revamp health care for their employees.
