The iconic baking brand has opened the long-time tradition to anyone who wants to share an original recipe using Pillsbury refrigerated dough. Participants also share the story or inspiration behind the recipe for judging.
If you’ve got a recipe waiting to hit the spotlight it needs to fall into one of these categories: Cozy Weekend Breakfasts, Appetizers for Any Party, Winning Weeknight Dinners and Sweet + Simple Desserts. Recipe and story entries will be accepted through September 12.
The category winners will meet up in New York City on Food Network’s “The Kitchen,” and the winner will be announced. That happens in January. There’s a big motivation for entering, too. Each category winner gets a suite of kitchen appliances by GE. The overall winner will also get 50-thousand bucks.
