Could You Be The Inspiration For "Juke Box Hero?"

Foreigner is searching for the die-hard fan who inspired their massive hit song “Juke Box Hero.”

Interest in the identity of the fan began when a Canadian DJ recently pointed out the 40th anniversary of the release of the track off the band's 1981 album Four. The mystery fan could join founding member Mick Jones at the premiere of Jukebox Hero The Musical in Toronto. Jones and former singer Lou Gramm wrote the song following an encounter with a fan at a sold-out show, according to Jones, in Cincinnati.

The young man stood in the pouring rain waiting for the show, so Jones brought him into the “inner workings.” The kid’s reaction brought about the song.
