In this fast-paced world, Yin arrives as an all-levels, approachable class that slows it all down, offering the opportunity to allow your mind & your body to sink in, pause, and relax, calming the nervous system and connecting the yogi/student to the subtle inner wisdom within.
Each time we gather we will explore various grounded yin poses for 3-5 minutes each with soft yet conscious awareness, bringing focus & space to the web of fascia and fluid-filled structures of the body that support our overall health and well-being.
Join me on Thursdays @ 6:00 pm for 90 minutes of slowing down, observing, resting, and recalibrating using yin as well as various breath & sound techniques to add to your personal toolbox. This may not feel like your average yoga class and can be a great complement to a long day and/or other more vigorous practices/experiences.
Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in, and if you have a yoga mat and/or yoga blanket/large towel to use that would be appreciated! (We have a limited supply of mats and props available for those without, as well as those curious & new to yoga! No experience required. Class will be mainly gentle floor work set to music.)
