WMRN-AM Peanut Push | Saturday December 6th, 2025 | Founders Park at 10am

In 1969, WMRN host Charlie Evers with Marion Junior Service Guild, created the Peanut Push contest.Competitors donate money to push a peanut across the street with their nose. Proceeds benefit the Christmas Clearinghouse, the Junior Service Guild’s primary charity, which provides children of Marion, with TOYS, books, blankets, food, winter hats and gloves.
Kids 12 and under ($10) will have their own peanut push. Register day of peanut push at 9am at Marion brewing.
By raising the most money for Christmas Clearinghouse, a King and Queen will be announced on stage.Also, a Prince & Princess (children under 12) can raise money to be royalty. Deadline to submit money collected, needs to be turned in December 4th, 2025 at the WMRN Studios (1330 N. Main Street) by 5:00pm!
