A 94-year-old woman is showing that you're never too old to learn.
Amy Craton of Honolulu has finally earned her bachelor's degree, which she first set out to accomplish back in 1962. But life kept her from finishing college, as she had to leave school to take care of her kids. But Amy decided that it's never too late, so she enrolled in Southern New Hampshire University's online degree program and recently completed it with 4.0 GPA.
She earned a degree in creative writing and English, and was visited Monday by the University's president who hand-delivered her diploma.
Amy hopes to inspire others to do the same. She says, "I couldn’t see myself just sitting there watching Netflix all the time. It feels good to graduate, to finish that part of my life, but I feel like I’m still on the road. I have more to learn."
