Sierra Nevada Brewing is recalling bottled beer in nearly three-dozen states and the District of Columbia. The nation's second-biggest-selling craft beer says some 12-ounce bottles have a flaw that could allow glass to break and fall inside the bottle. The recall applies to Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale and seven other varieties bottled at the company's brewery near Asheville, North Carolina.
The 36 states affected by the recall are in the Plains, Midwest, South, and on the East Coast. Sierra Nevada say it hasn't gotten any customer complaints or reports of injuries from the problem bottles.
