Three Things for Tuesday, March 14th

Central Ohio is waking up to find a blanket of fresh snow on the ground.  The National Weather Service says a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. for up to two inches of snow with gusty winds. Officials say the Snow Warriors are working around the clock to clear the roads of ice and snow.  ODOT snowplow drivers are rolling out in 12 hour shifts to make the highways passable for morning commuters.


Several flights out of John Glenn International Airport were cancelled with more expected over the next few days as the storm dumps what could be several feet of snow on the east.  Airport officials say to call their airline before heading out to catch a flight.


Amazon is opening a brick-and-mortar store on the Ohio State University campus.  "Amazon Campus" will offer low prices on every on things from course materials to dorm supplies.  It'll be on North High Street where UniversiTees is now.


SPORTS: Cam Atkinson had two goals to help the Blue Jackets top the Flyers, 5-3, in Philly.
