Can You Really Drink a Sunscreen?

Here’s one from the “you really didn’t see this coming?” department.

A Colorado company marketing a "drinkable sunscreen" is now being sued over fraud allegations. The legal action was filed this week by Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller. He says Osmosis Skincare is misleading customers with no valid testing to prove its claims the product would actually protect people from health hazards.

The company says critics just don't understand the technology involved. The Iowa AG wants an injunction against the product being sold in that state.

The product, Harmonized Water, claims to be a "UV neutralizer" that can protect people from harmful solar rays by being sprayed into the mouth. It promises to create "wave" that block the UV radiation.
