Three Things You'll Be Talking About Today (3-22-2017)

Pleasant has chosen a new superintendent. Prospect native Jennifer Adams will be replacing John Bruno when he retires in July. Adams is currently working in the Hilliard City Schools and has been a teacher and principal in the Elgin schools, her Alma-mater.

Ohioans are being encouraged to test their tornado preparedness today.  A statewide tornado drill will be held at 9:50 this morning to test the Emergency Alert System. Counties across the state will also activate their warning sirens as part of the drill.  Ohio Emergency Management Agency officials say spring weather brings an increased risk for tornadoes and severe storms.

The Buckeyes are getting ready for their spring game by naming the guest coaches. Former Buckeye Lou Holtz and Nike Founder Phil Knight.

The Blue Jackets are in the playoffs, but not slowing down as they are in a dog fight for the best record in the NHL. Yesterday they went from first to third as the Pens and Capitols both won. Tonight the CBJ hosts The Maple Leafs.
