Chinese Zoo Charges To Get Up Close To Polar Bear Poo

Next Monday at the Marion Public Library at 6:30, Marion County Naturalist James Anderson will present the program, "What's The Scoop on Poop." You sure can learn a lot about scat and the welfare of animals. Here's a link to the program: MARION PUBLIC LIBRARY

With that being said, look at what they're doing in China:

The Wuhan Haichang Ocean Park bills the weekly event as a way for people to see what it's like to be a polar bear keeper. They also get to feed the bears after a little bit of training and a health check but poop detail is the main responsibility.

The zoo says the goal of the program is targeted at adult education and not making money.
