Fidget Spinners & Schools Not Getting Along!

If your kid takes their fidget spinner to school, chances are it won’t come home with them. Fidget spinners and cubes are making up a whopping 46 out of 50 of the top-selling toys on Amazon. The toys are small gadgets made with metal and ball bearings that you twirl between your fingers.

Teachers in several states say they're more of a distraction to students and staff. They're also being tossed around and can cause injuries. Schools in Kentucky, New York and Massachusetts have banned fidget spinners from classrooms. Minnesota schools are quickly adding to the ban list.

Online petitions by students to lift the restrictions are now popping up.
