MARION, Ohio — Quitting smoking alone can be hard. That’s why OhioHealth Marion General Hospital is offering smoking cessation classes to help those who are determined to become tobacco free for life.

The program is designed to give patients the tools to quit and commit to a healthier lifestyle. Participants will learn a comprehensive plan to stop tobacco use including strategies to recover from tobacco addiction, the barriers to tobacco cessation, the health benefits of choosing a tobacco-free lifestyle, nicotine-replacement options, and techniques for stress management.

The program will be held at Marion General Hospital, 1000 McKinley Park Drive, Marion, OH 43302 in the rehabilitation center. Classes are Tuesdays at 4:30 p.m. during the following 6-week sessions:

Session One: January 9 to February 13
