Halsey is taking care of her health as she prepares for her upcoming tour.
The Great Impersonator musician recently shared a video to TikTok to catch fans up with what has been going on in their life recently, including revealing that they had more chemotherapy sessions to address health concerns. Halsey previously revealed they had been diagnosed in 2022 with Lupus SLE and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder, per People. Halsey revealed their secret health battle in June 2024 and explained they were "feeling better" after a "rocky start" to their illness.
"Just coming on here to give you guys another speed round of updates," they said. "Just did another few sessions of chemo, had a new port placed [in her chest]."
However, not all updates were health related. The "Lucky" singer explained how her team is preparing for the upcoming Back to Badlands tour, which will mark 10 years since the release of her debut album Badlands.
"We just put the Back to Badlands show together, and it's going to be unbelievable [and] so amazing," they said, adding that they will start rehearsals "very very soon" and teasing that there will be "nostalgic" references from the first Badlands tour.
Halsey also shared a hilarious story about a recent interaction with her fiancé Avan Jogia regarding the tour, which kicks off October 14 at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles.
"Really funny story, me and Avan were driving in L.A. the other day and he pointed to Hollywood Forever Cemetery, he looked at me and he went, 'You're gonna be in there soon,'" she recalled.
After Halsey gave him a strange look, he immediately realized his comment could be construed as more morbid that intended and quickly corrected himself. "He was like, 'Oh my God, I mean for your show, for the first show of your tour.' I was like oh okay that's way better than what I thought you meant. Can't wait to be in there soon."
Weeks after confirming their engagement, Halsey shared some "sweet" details about Jogia's "special" proposal during an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast in October 2024.
