Tom Petty would have turned 70 Tuesday and the big day will be celebrated this weekend with a star-studded livestream.
The singer’s estate just announced plans for “Tom Petty’s 70th Birthday Bash,” which will be a virtual festival taking place Friday and streaming on the singer’s website and on Amazon’s Twitch channel at 7 pm ET.
The event will feature a special performance by The Hearbreakers’ Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench, plus performances and appearances by such artists as Beck, Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton, Foo Fighters, Jackson Browne, Margo Price, Eddie Vedder, Lukas Nelson, Dave Stewart, Lenny Kravitz, Stevie Nicks and more.
