A Delaware man is going to prison after being sentenced for fatally hitting a jogger with his car and then leaving the scene. A Franklin County judge yesterday sentenced Jonathan B. Coffman to eight-years behind bars for his role in the death of Linda Evans in July of 2017. Coffman was convicted of aggravated vehicular homicide and received another six months on his sentence for operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs. During the trial, prosecutors revealed that Coffman had previously been involved in hitting a pedestrian in 2011 but was never charged because the person was walking on the wrong side of the road.
