Chicken bites made for toddlers are being recalled after bones were found in them. The USDA's Food Safety and Inspections Service announced Saturday that 54-thousand pounds of chicken bites from California-based Overhill Farms are being recalled nationwide.
The recall affects 3-ounce boxes "Yummy Spoonful" and 30-pound bulk cases of chicken bites that come with broccoli, carrot or sweet potato. They were produced on August 30, 2016, February 1, 2017, February 9, 2017 and April 25, 2017. Although there have been no reports of injury or illness, it is a class 1 recall with a high health risk.
