Bruce Springsteen says he has no interest in running for governor of New Jersey. He tells "Variety", in a candid interview, he has no business in politics and no interest in policy making, adding that he's simply a musician. Despite that, he says he had no qualms about endorsing Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential campaign and performing at a rally in Philadelphia on her behalf.
When asked if he would want to recreate the sound the album “The River,” Bruce said I don’t think you can really recapture what you did in your youth. It’s tricky; if you try, it can feel like a cardboard copy of something you [formerly] did naturally.”
Springsteen on Broadway opened for previews last night. The official opening at the Walter Kerr Theater for the sold out shows is next Friday, October 12th and runs until February 3rd.
