The ABC News-Washington Post poll shows that more than half of U.S. women have experienced unwanted or inappropriate sexual advances. More than half. That means there’s a good chance the person next to you has been through it.
Three-in-ten put up with unwanted advances from male co-workers and a quarter have to deal with those men having influence over their work situation. In a nutshell, that’s 33 million women.
Nearly all of the women asked, 95-percent, said that men usually go unpunished. 56-percent of men agree with that.
Despite all the laws and advancements, it’s pretty well agreed this has continued at the same level, if not increased, since 1992.
