Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa has been busy this entire week. He helped his team win the World Series. That was big.
Then, on the baseball field, after the final game of the World Series, he proposed marriage to his girlfriend. That, too, was big.
Somewhere in there, he also found time to work with a charity group and a mattress store to donate mattresses to those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Carlos worked with the Houston Children’s Charity to deliver 500 mattresses to those in need. The time and money Carlos donated was a good start, as the charity group has a goal of distributing a total of 5,000 mattresses.
