Netflix is firing Danny Masterson amid rape allegations. The streaming service said yesterday the 41-year-old actor has been cut from the show "The Ranch," and his character is being subsequently written out. He will still appear in the fourth part of the comedy series scheduled for release next week and in some episodes next year. Masterson, who is widely known for playing Steven Hyde on "That 70s Show," is accused of raping four women in the early 2000s. He has denied the allegations, and is not currently under investigation.
The U.S. Capitol will get into the Christmas spirit this evening. The Capitol Christmas tree-lighting ceremony is set for 5 o'clock Eastern time and is open to the public. The 68-foot, nearly 14-thousand-pound Engelmann spruce was placed on the West Front Lawn after arriving from Montana last Monday. Lighting the Capitol Christmas tree on the West Front Law has been a tradition since 1964.
