NFL viewership is still going down.
The viewing numbers are down for this year's Super Bowl. Nielsen reports that an average of just over 103-million people tuned in to see the Philadelphia Eagles beat the New England Patriots 41-33 Sunday. That’s the lowest viewership since 2009.
Several million more people watched the game through streaming platforms. Still, this year's TV viewership numbers represent a seven-percent drop from last year.
