Prepare to say goodbye to Rick Grimes.
It’s been the buzz that Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick, is exiting and now ComicBook.com has confirmation. AMC is expected to announce officially Lincoln's exit from the zombie fest ahead of his final episodes. He’s expected to be a goner before the end of season nine.
Just a heads up for more possible changes. A few other castmates are in their final contract year. Lauren Cohan is only going to be in a handful of episodes for the next season. She and Lincoln are two of only five that have been around since season three or earlier. Lincoln notes “This job is, as I said before, glorious and unique. I wouldn't trade it for the world. The stinger is the fact that I seem to be the guy left on the pier waving people away. That's powerful."
