A former member of the Ohio State Board of Trustees is saying he resigned because he felt the board was too lenient with head coach Urban Meyer. Former board member Jeffrey Wadsworth yesterday addressed the details of his resignation, which he submitted immediately after the decision to suspend Meyer for the first three games of Ohio State's 2018 football season. Wadsworth said he was the lone voice for a harsher penalty and felt his remaining on the board would be hypocritical. Wadsworth was appointed to the Board of Trustees in 2010 and served as the President and CEO of Battelle Memorial Institute from 2009 to 2017.
