And all you parents were worried about the kids? A new study shows that millennial parents are more likely to be distracted while driving by activities on their phone beyond texting.
“JAMA Pediatrics” surveyed over four-hundred parents to ask them about their behavior while driving. Parents of all ages took part in the distracted Driving Survey, which asked whether they texted, used email, social media or maps while driving.
Nearly two-thirds of all parents admitted to reading text messages while driving and over half said they sent texts. Still, the results showed that millennials were more likely to use multiple applications while driving.
