Dylan Hughes and Amelie Barker are one of those couples that seem to be a dream duo and that was celebrated at their prom.
Dylan and Amelie have known each other for 13 years, but started dating a few months ago. The 16-year-olds have Down Syndrome, but that doesn’t stop them from attending a mainstream school. The pair are so sweet that they are wildly popular, enough so they were voted Prom king and queen!
Dylan and Amelie had no idea they’d be crowned and it was done to loud cheers, They won by a mile, too. It’s the perfect moment for the kids who had their first date at a pizza shop. It’s also a good reminder for us that people with Down Syndrome can lead perfectly happy lives.
