Welcome to the first Friday in March, or as it's also known, the National Day of Unplugging.
So, what do you do to celebrate? Disconnecting our devices and being present with people in our lives! The day is meant for folks to unplug, unwind and relax.
That means ditching things like social media and electronics and maybe just doing a bit of reflecting, taking some time out for yourself, or non-technology-based communicating with friends or family.
It starts at sundown today and goes through sundown tomorrow. Can’t do it tomorrow? That’s okay. The official National Day of Unplugging website has a pledge kit and tips for unplugging. You can even pledge to do it another time!
