This has been one of the most contentious elections of all time, certainly in my lifetime, BUT it will also be the most voted in election, too. When we wake up tomorrow, remember that if a friend didn't vote the way you did or if your candidate didn't win, we can all be friends and get along. Be kind and go about your business.
There are some things you should know about going to vote today. First, bring your I.D., your mask, don't wear anything advertising politics and bring your patience!
The best time to vote is at 10:00 AM. The polls will be slower then and the workers will be up to speed by then. If you're in line at 7:30 PM you will be allowed to vote.
If you didn't mail your absentee ballot, you can still vote in-person, but it'll be provisional and won't be counted for a few days, but certainly will be counted. You can still drop off your absentee ballot in the box at the county board of elections, by 7:30 PM.
3.4 million Ohioans have already voted. A record 6 million might vote and 8.1 million Buckeyes are registered to do so. Lets get out, vote and be kind and happy.
