Do You Know What Your Recurring Dreams Are Telling You?

People may be very different in everyday life, but we're surprisingly alike once we fall asleep.

YourTango compiled a list of some of the most common dreams, and, as a bonus, offered some insight about what it means if you have them repeatedly, such as:

Being naked or inappropriately dressed in public. It represents vulnerability and possibly exposing oneself to another in some way. It could also be representative of shame or embarrassment in your life.

Falling. Falling is among one of the most common dreams people experience regardless of age. This can represent feelings of insecurity or helplessness. Some people actually fall out of bed during these dreams.

Car accident. This dream usually occurs when there is something going on in your life that is out of control. It’s as if this part of your life continues to spiral out of control until you crash.

Missing a flight or train stop. These dreams can represent feelings of missing out on things. They can also occur when you’re feeling anxious or feel you are losing touch with someone in your life.

Dying or being injured. This may represent something in your life that is no longer there or something within yourself that is no longer working. The positive aspect of these types of dreams is the possibility of new beginnings.
